The graphics being not best but they are good enough. Does not have any blood or gore, but there are some violence. Uses a 3D engine, but graphics are not as good as newer games. The graphics in Age of Empires free download are dated, but they being still good for that was released in 1997. Environments are detailed and units being easily distinguishable. Graphics in most recent game, Age of Empires III, are best in series. Are not photo-realistic, but they are very well done for the time period in which they being set.
